Subaru Main Side
- Games: Who doesn't like to occasionally play a video game? Subaru enjoys them because they distract him from the rest of the world, and give him a place where his mind can appropriately focus.
- Nighttime: The cool of the night and the twinkling of the stars always have made Subaru feel more at peace.
- Sweets: He loves anything and everything that's sweet. Chocolate, cake, bake goods, anything.
- Helping others: He likes to make others happy, even if at the cost of his own well-being. He likes to see them smile.
- Making friends: It's something he absolutely struggles with, but he enjoys it. Though he's ever really made one friend and only ever let one person in: Toya.
Subaru Other Side
- Making fun of others: He loves pointing other people's flaws and watching them squirm, or get upset. Basically, he likes to bully others. It's not very nice.
- Seeing people cry: Along the same lines as making fun of others, he also loves to make them cry.
- Hurting people: Fighting could go along with this. He loves to hurt others, either physically or emotionally.
- Knives: He always keeps at least one knife on him at all times in case he gets pissed off or wants to stab someone. Unfortunately for the main personality, he always feels the urge to obey him on this.
- Slacking off: Good grades? Yeah right. Attend class? In your dreams. Actually, not even in your dreams, it's not going to happen. Ever. Who needs classes?
Subara
- Flowers: Flowers are so pretty and come in all kinds of colors and variations, who wouldn't like them? They smell so nice and make a wonderful hair ornament!
- Sunshine: Why wouldn't anyone like sunshine? It's much nicer than that scary night. The sun makes everything look so bright and happy, and feels nice and warm!
- Parties: The life of the party is a good one! She loves to attend parties!
- Friends: She seems to have an easier time making friends with others than her body's dominant personality. Of course, unknown to her, most of them aren't really friends and are more of using her.
- Dressing up: Dresses, nice clothes, anything that makes her look nice! Anything that's not baggy or super casual.
■ dislikes
Subaru Main Side
- His other sides: He doesn't mind Subara much, really, but he DOES mind his other male-half. He tends to hurt people he cares about, or just screw his life over in general.
- Hurting others: There's no fun in hurting people! So he definitely doesn't do it, but his other side does, which he really hates.
- Losing friends: He hates when he manages to make a friend, and then somehow, either because of his personas, or because of something he did, they leave him.
- Family: His family was never there for him. He doesn't keep in touch with them, and he doesn't ever intend to. While it definitely hurts and he doesn't wish them the worst, he knows he's better off without them.
- Fights: Fighting is horrible... People get hurt. He tries not to get into any kind of fights. Though it's a bit difficult when his other side tends to make enemies for him...
- Groups: He hates being in a group of people unless he's close to them. He's afraid that his other, violent, side will come out and hurt them, or that he will embarrass himself in front of them.
Subaru Other Side
- Losing: He doesn't intend to ever lose anything, arguments or physical fights (especially physical fights). But any time he has/does/or will, he will just become pissed off, and things will get ugly and violent and not healthy for anyone on either side...
- Work: Like who would ever want to work? He'd rather just slack off and not bother doing anything, much easier that way.
- School: School is just as awful as working! All that dreaded homework and long lectures. There's no fun in that at all.
- Family: For the same reason as his main personality, he hates his family. He feels begrudged and abandoned because they never loved him. Unlike his main personality however, he DOES wish them harm and death and everything bad and vile.
- "Idiots": Anyone that's any kind of stupid he dislikes. He doesn't care who it is -- teacher, student, citizen, some random old guy. He will show disdain for them immediately if they show their faces to him.
Subara
- Anger: It's such a terrible emotion... Subara would rather everyone be happy and treat everyone kindly. But no one usually does... Especially that awful Subaru.
- Fights: Who would ever want to hurt anyone? It's just so horrible. People shouldn't ever be hurt. They should always be happy.
- Failing tests: It's terrible! All that studying they did went to waste! They'll have to cram now to make up the work and grade so that they don't fail!
- Bugs: They're creepy little critters! Subara hates anything in the bug and insect classification and tends to squeal and screech and flee at the sight of a bug.
- Losing: Much less violent than her other side. It's more of a competitive thing. She can get very competitive against others, and it's kind of disappointing when she loses.
■ habits
Subaru Main Side
- Apologizing: He tends to apologize for every little thing and fault, even if it's not his fault or the fault of one of his other personalities. He hates doing something wrong, so he will profusely say sorry until he's satisfied he has said it enough, or they tell him to stop... where he might just apologize more.
- Fidgeting with his hands: When he gets nervous, or when he's talking to a large group or a teacher or someone he's only just met, he tends to play with his hands.
- Biting his lip: The same reasons as fidgeting with his hands, when Subaru gets nervous, he tends to chew on his lip, and usually makes it bleed.
Subaru Other Side
- Rolling his eyes: When people annoy him, or talk to him, or just say something utterly stupid, he tends to roll his eyes when they talk.
- Spacing out: When someone talks to him, he has this habit of just spacing out and tuning them out. Though he usually pretends that he was listening just to make them go away.
Subara
- Twirling and chewing on her hair: When distracted she usually finds herself twirling her hair around her fingers or chewing on its tips.
- Stuttering: Another nervous habit. Subara usually stutters and has a hard time forming coherent sentences.
- Talking about herself in first person: Probably a rather annoying habit to some... Subara tends to refer to herself as... well, Subara.
■ fears
Subaru Main Side
- Losing Toya: He's the only person who seems to understand him and his closest friend. Subaru is absolutely terrified that he will do something to lose him or that he will wind up hurting him and lose him forever.
Subaru Other Side
- Being Alone: Despite all of his aggression and "I hate you" behavior... He's actually very afraid of being alone forever, and he knows that it will probably be that way. After all, he's not the main personality. This isn't his body. It's not his life.
Subara
- Bugs: Wasn't this on her dislikes? Yes it was. It's a rather simple fear, but still a fear. Subara is absolutely afraid of bugs and insects of any kind, shape or appearance, and will scream and flee at the sight of them.

■ appearance
Subaru normally stands at around five foot six inches given he's not wearing anything to make him taller. So he's not exactly short or tall for his age, at least. He has pale skin and a rather smooth complexion to go with it. This usually makes his hair stand out quite a bit... His purple hair is clearly one of his defining features. The long blue-purple hair (which changes colors depending on the lighting), which is only ever worn down when he's showering or sleeping (or when Subara comes out), is usually kept up in a messy top-bun style. He leaves his fringe and strands of hair hanging at the sides of his face. When it's not up, the hair comes down to almost his waist. His eyes are a light grey, however when the light hits them the right way, they appear to be a nice, piercing blue.
For clothing, he usually wears a variety of things. He prefers loose, casual clothing of various colors but they tend to be dark colors like blue or grey. He wears long sleeved clothing to hide the bruises or wounds he's received whenever he gets into a fight, which he usually only receives when he was in his normal personality, and always because of the violent side. However... if one looked into his wardrobe, they would be rather confused. Why? That would be because they would find various dresses, skirts, blouses and other feminine clothing. Whenever Subara takes ahold for any length of time, she tends to get dressed up and put on makeup and let their hair down... And looks quite like a girl.

■ History
It all started when Subaru was a young boy. He wasn't born with siblings. He wasn't born into a wealthy family. He wasn't even born into a decent family. No, Subaru was born to a prostitute and one of her frequent customers that decided to hook up. They weren't even sure that he was Subaru's real father. But he acted like it anyway. They grew up rather poor, inside of a rundown house in the bad part of a town. He was always neglected except when his father became violent and took it out on him.
His mother always told him that she wished he wasn't born. She wanted a girl, not this small, weak little boy. And the agony this put Subaru in was what let Subara be born. She was the first split-personality to come. She was mommy's little princess... or tried to be. Their mother detested them both. In her eyes, it was just her son being 'weird' and trying too hard, and the disdain that she had for him grew even further. Most nights she left him alone at their house to scrounge for food that he couldn't find, and most nights he went starving. Most nights, he was left with his father, who was almost always drunk, and always brought friends over, all of which abused the young boy.
But around the age of seven was when something in him would change. Another personality would be born. One that wouldn't stand for their father's abuse, or the abuse of any others. One night, in the middle of a rather violent encounter with his father that left several of his ribs broken, the personality awoken, and without hesitation grabbed a knife and began to stab his father over and over until he was no longer moving... Blood covered him from head to toe, but he didn't care. He just kept stabbing him until he was sure that he wouldn't move ever again.
They weren't sure when their mother came home, but at some point she did. Her scream was what woke Subaru and shoved this new personality back down. He tried to explain that he didn't do it, that he was sorry as he fell to his knees crying and begging, but she didn't listen. She didn't believe him. She called the police on him, and the young boy was taken to a psychiatric ward where they labeled him as mentally unstable.
Charges wouldn't be pressed against him, however. The detectives on the case, along with the doctors that examined him, learned that he was being abused. They labeled the murder in self defense, and contacted family that Subaru didn't even know he had. Soon he was sent off to live with his uncle and aunt, who were informed of his situation and of... his multiple personalities. While his aunt and uncle did indeed take much better care of Subaru, he never really felt welcome there. They put on a false face to make him feel welcome, yet he could see how wary and uncertain they were of him, especially whenever Subara or the violent side took over. The third side became on of the most dominant personalities, at times even more dominant then his first one. He took over whenever Subaru got upset or in trouble.
But then one day he would Toya. It would be the first time he ever felt happy. At first they didn't seem very close. But Toya wasn't cruel, and he liked him. The two boys started to get closer, but Subaru tried to hide his other personalities from him. One day that would change though, and they showed up. Much to Subaru's surprise, however, Toya didn't seem to mind them. He finally felt truly happy. In fact, even his more violent of sides tolerated Toya, and at times would even get protective of him. And that's what led to another incident.
One day when they were out, someone made some kind of rude comment. It wasn't anything really serious, or anything that most people would have even cared about. Most people would have ignored it, actually. But Subaru didn't. It angered him, and the violent side took over and got into a fight with the other boy. Yet Toya got in his way as he was about to go stab the boy, and instead he stabbed him. It wound up putting Toya in the hospital, and Subaru felt terrible. He spent every moment that he could there with him. The violent side even pushed himself down for a while. Toya was the only one they cared about after all.
Eventually Toya escaped the hospital with him, however. Subaru ran away with him so that he could get away from his mother. He tried to help provide for them both whenever he could. They heard about a school however, that seemed to be good for the both of them, and they decided to go there. They even provided dorms for them to stay in. It was a good place, and they both were able to get away from their families. Now they stay at the school together. Thankfully Toya is able to keep his violent side mostly under control.
