- Making Friends: Caelum is rather friendly, thankfully. Of course, an angel should probably be friendly, especially if they're the Headmaster. Either way, he likes to make friends with others.
- Helping Others: Helping others is an angel's job. He likes to help just about anyone, especially his students, no matter what race they are. He will help them if they are in trouble, or if they just need someone to do something for them. He's more than willing to.
- Nature: The earth was created by their god, and is a thing to love. Every thing in its natural beauty is marvelous, and Caelum loves to spend time outside just about.. anywhere. The less man-made objects around, the better.
- Animals: They are the creation of god, and should be respected. He especially likes cats, and seems to... hoard them.... Which may seem against his virtue.
- Sunny/Warm Weather: The warmer the weather, the better. Summer's probably his favorite season, despite school being out.
■ dislikes
- Demons: He can't say he exactly likes them. They stand for everything that's opposite of an angel's virtues. But he will tolerate them, since he was given the command from god to run the school.
- Cold Weather: He doesn't care if cold weather was created by his god or not. He absolutely detests it. It's cold, and freezes you to the bones. He rarely goes out in the winter time.
- Anger: A terrible emotion, that even he sometimes, shamefully, succumbs to.
- People Getting Hurt: Pain, emotional or physical, is never a happy thing. He hates when others get hurt, no matter how, and tries his best to help them whenever he can to cheer them up.
- DemonxAngel Relationships: It's unholy. Perhaps in the future when, IF, demons and angels somehow manage to become close, he will willingly accept it. However, in the meantime, as they are such mortal enemies, he's opposed to it.

- running hand through hair: when caelum gets frustrated, he tends to run his hand through his hair to push it out of his face... multiple times.
- tapping foot: whenever he gets impatient, he can always be seen tapping his foot. it's a sure sign that you should hurry up.
■ fears
- Failure: the one task that he was assigned with was creating a place where angels, demons and humans could live together in harmony. He is constantly worrying over the fact that he will slip up and something will happen that will forever disrupt the peace. He's afraid of letting the humans know of their existence and the existence of other mythical races that will ruin their relationships. Afraid the demons will rebel and do something to act out against the humans. Afraid that he will fail the task that god gave him.

Caelum is a rather mature person. He comes off as far more mature than someone of his "age". He knows when to be serious and calm, but this doesn't mean that he doesn't know when to have fun. He's a rather friendly and even overly trusting man. This has gotten him hurt several times in his past, but he hasn't changed. He is always willing to help another, and will do his best to do whatever they require within reason, even if they are a demon. He doesn't necessarily hate demons, but he will remain wary of them unless they prove themselves to him otherwise.
He is very open minded and willing to listen to anything anyone says with a polite attitude. Sometimes, even if jokingly, he has been called father because of his personality. He acts fatherly and protective, sometimes too protective, to those younger than him (which is every single human ever). He is more than willing to become someone's father figure in a heartbeat, and hates seeing others in pain or crying.
However, sometimes he does come across as arrogant. He really isn't, but he appears that way at times. It probably comes from his virtue. Being temperance, he doesn't require things that most people would. He doesn't practice them, and turns a lot of them down. To some people, this makes him seem arrogant. Temperance, defined by control over excess, allows him to abstain from sexual desire, restrain himself from vanity or anger, remain modest and humble, forgive others and give mercy, and regulate his desires.
Except that self control slips when it comes to cats... Don't even ask. He just adores the furry little things. You should probably stay out of his apartment... Especially if you hate cats or are allergic to them... His apartment is overpopulated with them. Big time. Probably why he couldn't get a normal apartment. He'd never be able to afford the pet fee... He tends to give them silly names too. His favorite cat is a Silver Chinchilla Persian that he rescued as a baby and named Sir Purrsalot...

Tall, light haired, and calm usually sums him up. Caelum reaches about six feet in height, and weighs around one hundred and sixty pounds. He has light muscle that stretches over his medium frame, showing he is clearly in shape and occasionally works out from time to time. He has a smooth complexion free of blemishes and light peachy skin to compliment his appearance well.
From the top down, one will notice he has a rather oval shaped face, his chin comming down into a rather sharp point. His other facial features are rather delicate. He has a small pointed nose, a thin mouth, and rather piercing eyes. His eyes are rather narrowed and thin, giving some the oppression that he's glaring or doesn't seem to care. His irises area bright, piercing light blue that in some lights seems to almost glow. A lot of people seem to be attracted to his eyes, but it doesn't tend to bother him.
His hair is a medium orange tone that comes down to about his shoulder blades. His bangs tend to hang down in his eyes and sweep across his right one. He clearly takes good care of his hair, and it rarely ever appears messy. If it does, it's probably a good sign that he didn't really get to sleep well. His orange hair seems to have a shiny look to it, as if he uses some kind of special shampoo or something to give it a glowing look. It's also rather soft.
His facial expressions are usually calm and serious, especially during important matters and at work. This doesn't mean that he's always bored or serious, however. He tends to smile a lot and his eyes light up when he's happy. One usually gets a comforting feeling when looking at him.
Caelum's clothing style consists of a variety of colors. He has a large amount of outfits, a lot comprised of long sleeve dress shirts of various colors and styles. He likes to wear loose, comfortable clothing, but occasionally dresses up nice or in a suit of some kind. He likes to wear clothes that compliment his appearance, even if they sometimes come off as flirty and revealing. A lot of his shirts actually have a low cut collar and show off part of his chest. He doesn't really seem bothered by this. He also has a pair of reading glasses he uses every now and then.

- halberd: a golden halberd that glows with a bright, holy light. the light has the ability to attract evil and absorb their energy to purify it in great amounts. the light is almost like a fire, and burns to the touch if anyone with any evil or malevolent intent comes into contact with it. with a single thought, the halberd can expand and contract rapidly, allowing gabriel to increase his reach, or shorten it for closer battles.

- five entity teleportation: the archangel of temperance's power allows him to attach his soul to up to five entities that he has a close bond to, no matter their race or status. once he attaches his soul to them, he can call them to him at any time simply by speaking his name. this ability also allows him to feel when the other requires his aid, or simply wants him to appear, and compels him to teleport to them. It works for him, and the entities his soul is attached to.

Caelum was born in England in the fourteen hundreds to a family of humble origins. They weren't wealthy, nor were they in a well-off position. They lived life from day to day, making the best that they could of it. They were poor, they didn't have much food to eat, nor did they have clean clothes. Yet they did their best to provide for their young son. He was the only kid they had, and the only kid that they ever wanted. Yet his father had a secret life that he was unaware of, and during Caelum's fourth year of life, his father was executed for crimes against the church.
The family didn't let this get them down, however. But it did pique the young boy's curiousity. What was this church? What did his father do to anger them? And why did they have the power to execute so easily? At the age of eight, him and his mother traveled to town to get some food. A kindly elder had given the poor family some money, a gift of charity that would forever start the change in Caelum's life. While in the town, Caelum got separated from his mother, and found his way to the church. With newborn curiousity, the young boy entered the church during a sermon, and found his own interest in this god the preached of renewed.
From that point on, Caelum did his best to study and learn everything that he could about this god. By the time he turned twelve, he knew enough that he was able to join the church as the understudy of a priest. With his faith and willingness to learn, he quickly garnered knowledge. However, by the time he was sixteen, ready to become a priest at the church, a plague broke loose in the city. His time to become a priest was postponed, and he even heard rumors from the higher priests that they would have to close the doors to the church until the plague had ended.
The men that preached miracles by god were too afraid of the plague to help them. With an anger he had never felt before, Caelum left the church and entered the city on his own, discarding the robes of his church and starting a following of his own. By the time he was seventeen, he had gained quite the following, and by eighteen word of his "miracles" had spread. His "Gift of Healing" had cured many of the villagers with the plague, and people were starting to follow him more than the church. In his eyes, he was the messenger of god.
He started to travel the world to spread the word of god, everywhere he went, followers traveled with him. When he returned to England at the age of twenty one, three years later, he found his mother had died. This wrecked the young man. He didn't understand why god would do this to him, his faithful follower. He stopped preaching, and the people wondered what had happened to him. He stopped believing in god. At twenty-three, he would visit a tavern and in his despair, drink too much, breaking his virtues, and end his life.
When he awoke, he was in heaven. He met god, and his faith was restored. His disbelief was forgiven, and as a reward for his faith throughout his life, he was rewarded with the rank of a lord angel. From that point on he did his best as a guardian angel to protect and guide those he was charged with. He gained the virtue of temperance just like throughout his mortal life, and sometime later, was promoted to the Arch-Angel of Temperance.
He was tasked by god to arrange the treaty with the demons. The treaty that would suggest they try and get along in their goals, and form peace. However, he was surprised when they accepted, and he traveled to the mortal world, raising Nisshoku on a handpicked island. From that point on, he became the Headmaster, and invited angels, demons and humans alike from around the world to join. Only time would tell if this treaty would last.
